JAKARTA - Twitter wants to monetize business people on the platform by billing them US$1,000 (Rp15 million) per month to keep their gold ticks. This was revealed in a report from The Information.

As The Information notes, brands that don't pay a fee of $1,000 per month will lose their gold badges, although it's unclear when that will happen.

Internal messages seen by the media also reveal that Twitter wants to charge an additional $50 per month to add badges to every business affiliated account.
