JAKARTA - Elon Musk's electric car company Tesla announced plans to launch its third-party super-fast EV charging throughout Europe and Israel.

Tesla said the new program would add a third-party fast charger automatically if it met the company's performance and reliability standards for Tesla's navigation as a Eligible Third Party Charger.

"The goal is to ensure a smooth charging experience for Tesla drivers. The following standards will be rolled out across Europe and Israel first," Tesla said in its announcement on Twitter on Thursday, December 22.

In terms of requirements for Eligible Third Party Chargers, the company intends to add only chargers with compatible connectors, high reliability levels, and also those that are already popular among Tesla drivers.
