JAKARTA - Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is scheduled to launch on March 3, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC (via Windows Store and Steam).

In a recent interview with Wccftech, producer Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Fumihiko Yasuda and Masaaki Yamagiwa said that this game will be a more 'open' game than the previous title, NioH.

"Wo-Long: Fallen Dynasty is more open than the Nioh series, not only because of the addition of jumping mechanics but also because this game is set in China, because we want to give players a much larger feel of location, with unique landscapes, landscapes, and large castles, all of which are elements that really determine China," said the producer.

Although still focused on action and combat intensity, the Ninja team feels that the Wo Long players still want to explore the game. Although not an open world game, players can still explore, and get a reward for that.

Additionally, when talking about the release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for PCs and previous generation consoles, including PlayStation 4, the two producers said they could not keep up with the request.

"We know that many Japanese players can't try the Wo-Long demo: Fallen Dynasty because it's still difficult to find the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X S consoles in stores, and we're sure the situation isn't much different in other countries. So we heard from a lot of fans that they wanted to try this game, but they couldn't," he said.

Even so, the team is considering offering players on other platforms the opportunity to try Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty before its release, and has yet to provide certainty.
