JAKARTA - Snapchat partnered with Strava, a activity tracking and fitness platform to launch a new Lens that allows users to share the journey of their sports activities on Snapchat.

This new Strava Activity Lens will work by directly linking your Strava profile and giving you access to statistics and activity maps from the last exercise performed.

"Strava is a connected fitness center and is one of the largest sports communities. By supporting more than 30 types of activity, Strava gives you a simple and fun way to stay motivated and compete with yourself and others around the world," Snap Inc wrote., on its website.

With this Lens, you can take Snap or post a Story that visually and share your reactions to the recently undertaken exercises, and Snapchat will show real-time data from Strava.

To share your activity from Strava to Snapchat, you need to open the Strava app and open your profile. From there, select the "Activity" tab and scroll to the section of the exercise you want to share.

The activity that can be shared should be visible to Everyone or Only Followers on Strava and include visible maps. This feature is already available globally for Snapchatter on iOS and Android that has an active Strava account.

"Among the 100 million registered athletes Strava and the Snapchat range of 363 million daily active users, we can't wait to see how our community shares their fitness journey together," the company concluded.

Previously, Snapchat had also announced its collaboration with Amazon Fashion by presenting Virtual Try-On (VTO) which allows users to virtually try glasses at Amazon Fashion on the Snapchat app.
