BINTAN - Security forces continue to move to secure various types of gambling, including online gambling which is currently rife in several areas in the country.

The perpetrator who is a resident of Tanjung Uban, North Bintan District, Bintan Regency was arrested in the local area, on Wednesday 31 August.

The Bintan Police Chief also emphasized that this action was a form of the Bintan Police's seriousness in eradicating all forms of gambling activities in the area.

"We hope for support from the community to be proactive in reporting any gambling activities in their area so that public security and order remain conducive," said the Bintan Police Chief.
