JAKARTA - At the 2022 Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC), Apple announced the presence of iOS 16 for its smartphones. Soon, Apple finally launched a public beta for those of you who want to try various features in iOS 16.

In the iOS 16 update, VOI has tried a number of new features. One of them is able to cancel and edit messages in iMessage.

For those of you who are curious about how to cancel sending and editing messages in iMessage, here are the tips:

How to Edit Messages

1 Long press on the chat bubble. 2 On the drop-down menu, tap Edit. 3 Edit your message and tap the check mark to the right of the message to send a correction. (Or tap the "x" to the left of the message if you change your mind about changing the text).

How to Unsend a Message

1 Long press on the chat bubble. 2 On the drop-down menu, tap Undo Send. 3 The message will disappear immediately.

If you long press on your message after 15 minutes have elapsed, the Undo Send and Edit options will no longer appear in the menu.

Please note, this feature will only appear to fellow iOS 16 users. If you are still using iOS 15 or earlier, edited or unsent messages will still appear in their original form.
