JAKARTA - In January, Instagram began testing the subscriber feature. At the time, there were a select 10 accounts in the US that had access to the feature.

Now, Instagram Head Adam Mosseri announced the expansion of the feature over the last six months. Mosseri said that this subscriber feature is ready to be rolled out to tens of thousands of Instagram users.

“What really matters to creators everywhere is sustainable income,” Mosseri said in a video he posted on Instagram.

In addition to expanding the subscription feature, Instagram is also testing its new creator marketplace based on special invitations for product brands in the United States.
