Easy Ways To Change Conversation Themes In Instagram DMs So It's Not Boring

JAKARTA - Instagram has made improvements to Direct Message (DM) in its app, which allows you to change the chat theme on your account.

Previously, you could only change the theme with only two modes, namely light mode and dark mode. But now you can make it even more interesting.

If you are still confused about how to change the DM theme on your Instagram, follow the steps that VOI will provide below.

But, before doing so, make sure your instagram is in the latest version or has been updated. If not, we recommend that you update the app on the Play Store or App Store.

Open Instagram and tap the messaging or DM icon in the top right corner of the app. Next, open the chat you want to change. Tap the profile name to open the Chat settings menu. In the Chat Settings section, select Themes. Select the preferred theme in the Themes section. Or, if you prefer, choose a color in the Colors and Gradients section.

It should be noted, though, that the wallpaper change applies to both parties in the chat. So, if you change the theme in your DM conversation, the person you are chatting with will be notified that you have changed the chat theme, and vice versa.

What If Instagram DM Theme Not Working?

Clear cache. Reload (Restart) your phone. Log out of your Instagram account. Update application.
