JAKARTA – In the midst of increasing adoption of cryptocurrencies by various companies in the world, digital assets are starting to enter traditional financial systems in Latin American countries. Crypto exchange Bitso recently announced its partnership with Mexican debt fund company Addem Capital.

Addem Capital founder Pedro Cetina emphasized the importance of cryptocurrencies in revolutionizing companies. “Cryptocurrencies and the DeFi protocol have the potential to be a driver of financial inclusion in Latin America. Our model intrinsically has some operational complexity, cryptocurrencies are coming to revolutionize the model we operate on,” said Cetina, quoted by Bitcoin.com News.

The company itself believes that cryptocurrencies can increase the growth of VC funding for technology companies in Latin America. In 2021, the venture capital funding market will reach 15 billion US dollars.

While crypto exchange, Bitso, will act as a provider of cryptocurrency payments from investors. This allows Addem Capital to convert crypto to fiat instantly. In addition, Addem also does not have to bother with the KYC (Know Your Customer) process or other related procedures.

Bitso boss Carlos Lovera said he understood the offer from Addem Capital to give entrepreneurs access to new investment instruments that were decentralized and efficient.

“We understand the huge opportunity that cryptocurrencies offer us to revolutionize sectors, giving entrepreneurs access to investment tools and capital in a faster, simpler and more transparent way, enabling their local development to succeed in the global economy,” said Lovera.

Crypto exchange Bitso is reportedly opening a new service that allows its customers to receive stablecoin income from deposits of certain cryptocurrencies. Bitso seeks to provide more opportunities for customers to increase their wealth amid the threat of fiat inflation.
