Meta Quest Gaming Showcase 2022 Announcement Summary, Which Game Are You Waiting For?

JAKARTA - Meta has finished hosting the 2022 “Meta Quest Gaming Showcase” exhibition on Wednesday, April 20 with many announcements of new game titles that you can play on this year's Quest 2 VR headset.

From Resident Evil 4 - The Mercenaries, NFL PRO ERA to Among Us VR and Ghostbusters VR, the presentation was there. In case you missed this announcement, VOI has rounded up all the announcements from the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase below.

The walking dead Sinners Chapter 2

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: This retribution will bring players back for the streets of New Orleans, and promises to be even deadlier than the first time. That means you'll have to deal with "fewer resources, more pedestrians, and new, bloodthirsty threats that will hunt you across the city." The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution will arrive later in 2022.

NFL PRO ERA

StatusPRO has revealed the NFL PRO ERA, the first officially licensed NFL VR game that lets players lead their favorite team to the Super Bowl. The NFL PRO ERA will put you in a QB (Quarterback) position to take part in practice, play catch-up with friends online in NFL stadiums, and play on the biggest stage in a real NFL game.

Among Us VR

InnerSloth, Robot Teddy, and Schell Games have revealed that Among US VR will be arriving during Holiday 2022. Furthermore, Schell Games announced that there are three more projects in the works, but details will be revealed at a later date.

Red Matter 2

The original Red Matter left players with a cliffhanger that made the wait for a sequel announcement that much more difficult. This next entry is even closer to release and promises to take players across the solar system.

Espire 2

Espire 2 is set to build on the international espionage foundations set by Espire 1: VR Operative 2019, but this time it will feature a separate co-op campaign that will take players back to the locations from the first game.

Moss: Book II

Moss: Book II was originally released on PlayStation VR, and will now arrive in Meta Quest 2 in Summer 2022. This new entry will continue the story from the first game and will see Quill save the world from catastrophic destruction.

Ruinsmagus

RUINSMAGUS will let players use magic in VR and give them the opportunity to grow from novice wizards into powerful Magus and cast spells in narrative-based adventures. RUINMAGUS will also feature 26 full voice quests with voice talents from the likes of Naomi Ohzora, Ai Maeda, and Eiji Takemoto.

Cities VR

While this is not a "one-to-one port", Cities VR will help players build the city of their dreams and see it in a way they've never done before. The game will be out on April 28, 2022.

Resident evil 4 "The Mercenaries"

When Resident Evil 4 launched in VR in 2021, it did without the fan-favorite horde mode The Mercenaries. As of today, that issue is resolved as the mode is available as a free update to all players who own the base game.

Mercenaries was rebuilt by Armature Studio and will challenge players to take out as many Ganados as possible before time runs out. Alongside the VR-exclusive leaderboards and 20 new challenges, The Mercenaries will also have several treats made for VR, including Big Head Mode, black-and-white Classic Horror Mode, and Gold Gun skins for weapons. This unlock will also work in the main campaign.

Beat Saber Eectorinic Mixtape

Following the release of the OST5 and Fall Out Boy music pack, Beat Games has announced the Beat Saber Electronic Mixtape DLC that adds tracks from artists such as Deadmau5, Marshmello, Pendulum, and more.

Bonelab

Stress Level Zero has announced Bonelab, players must escape execution in a mysterious underground lab in a world that reacts like the real world. Bonelab will also feature extensive mod support

Ghostbuster VR

A new Ghostbusters VR game was announced for Meta Quest 2 from Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and nGames. Players will run their own "HQ Ghostbusters in the new city, San Francisco, and solve deep mysteries in a new chapter in the Ghostbusters universe."
