JAKARTA - Nintendo has officially announced that it will shut down Dragalia Lost, a mobile gacha RPG developed by CyGames.

A statement on Dragalia Lost's official website revealed that the game's story will end with the addition of part two of chapter 26 in July 2022. Then, Nintendo will discontinue service on the game at a later date.

An official schedule for when the game will no longer be available will be announced in the coming weeks.

The announcement also says that it will not receive any content updates other than the main campaign and certain quests once new hero sets are added on March 30.

"The Dragalia Lost team would like to thank every one of our players, past, and present, for your love and support for Dragalia Lost since its launch. It is our sincere hope that you have enjoyed your experience with the game since you started playing it, and we will endeavor to ensure that you continue to do so for as long as possible."

Dragalia Lost is Nintendo's first native IP made for mobile, which first debuted on iOS and Android devices in 2018.

Following Miitomo, Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp in Nintendo's mobile portfolio, this is the second game to be discontinued after Miitomo in 2018.
