JAKARTA - Google will introduce a new storefront that will make it easier for you to see what Stadia has to offer without the need for a Google account.

You also don't need to be logged into the service to see its entire library. One of the ways you can access the stadia storefront is through Google search, just as you would for games on Steam and the PlayStation Store.

According to Engadget, in addition to the new storefront, Google will also be expanding the availability of click-to-play trials to all developers. It's a limited-time demo that anyone can access, even if they haven't signed up for Stadia.

All the developers need to do to offer it is set the amount of time someone can play their game without an account. One of the games currently available to try out this way is Risk of Rain 2, and there will be more throughout 2022.

Both of these initiatives saw Google remove a bottleneck that might have stopped some people from trying the service.

It's hard to say whether that will ultimately change Stadia's outlook, but at least anyone interested in the platform will find it easier to discover what it's all about.
