JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Duren Police finally arrested two burglars who stabbed a truck driver at the exit of the Tomang toll road, Tanjung Duren, West Jakarta. The two perpetrators with the initials AGR (21) and FA (36) were arrested while drinking coffee at a shop around the location.

Tanjung Duren Police Chief, Kompol Muharam Wibisono confirmed the news of the arrest. According to him, the actions of the perpetrators often make people restless.

As is known, the burglary incident occurred on Thursday night, August 17. At the time of the incident, the truck driven by the two victims when exiting the toll gate was approached by several people and burglary. The perpetrators then asked for some money and e-tolls belonging to the victim.

"The two victims also fought back when they were on the bench, the victim had a fight with several perpetrators of the burglary. The perpetrators ganged up on the victim and stabbed the driver and assistant truck driver," he said.

As a result of the stabbing, the two victims suffered stab wounds. Meanwhile, the victim's valuables such as cellphones and e-toll cards were confiscated by the perpetrators.

Furthermore, the two victims reported to the Tanjung Duren Police. After receiving the report, the police then conducted an investigation based on the characteristics mentioned by the two victims.

"We have arrested two perpetrators of burglary along with evidence of sharp weapons used by the perpetrators at the toll exit," he said.
