More Than 10,000 Honda Cars Sold In September 2023, City Hatchback Hospitals Competitively Competitive With CR-V

JAKARTA - PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) managed to record positive sales of 10,170 vehicles during September 2023. Just like the previous month, sales were dominated by Brio and HR-V.

"The sale of Honda in September is supported by models. Such as Honda Brio and Honda HR-V which are still in demand by consumers," said Yusak Billy, as Sales & Marketing and Aftersales Director of PT HPM in an official statement received by VOI, Friday, October 13.

Brio as the mainstay LCGC model from Honda, contributed to the sales figure of 4,346 units. Of the total number, the City Car contributed 43 percent during September 2023.

Following Brio, there are several SUV models that contribute to the sale of this Japanese manufacturer in Indonesia. Starting from HR-V which managed to book sales of 2,107 units or contributed 21 percent of the total.

Complementing the top three positions is a model representing the LSUV segment, namely BR-V which books sales of 1,516 units. Other SUV models such as WR-V were sold as many as 1,502 units in that period.

Showing his spurs at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), All-New Honda CR-V managed to achieve sales of 313 units, which are 1.5L Turbo variants, not including the type RS e: HEV.

Meanwhile, models such as the Honda City Hatchback RS experienced an increase in sales of 24 percent from the previous month or a book of 224 units. The achievement was attended by other Honda products such as Civic as many as 72 units, Mobilio with 33 units, Accord sold 24 units, Civic Type R with 20 units, and City sold with 13 units.

For information, the manufacturer also held a sales program with the theme HEBOH (Honda More Promos at the End of the Year) where consumers who purchased Honda cars in October 2023 had the opportunity to get various benefits ranging from free maintenance costs to Upgrader Packages.

"We will continue to present various attractive sales programs that can make it easier for consumers to buy Honda cars," concluded Billy.
