In Addition To Motorbikes, Yamaha Also Brings Four And Three Wheel Models In The 2023 Japan Mobility Show

JAKARTA - Yamaha joined the Japan Mobility Show 2023 which will take place at the end of October. This manufacturer will showcase several models that will certainly attract public attention.

In addition to the motorbike previously reported by VOI, Yamaha, known as the 'Garputala,' will also introduce several other innovative mobility concepts.

Reporting from the official website of Yamaha Global on Wednesday, October 11, the company based in Iwata, Shizuoka, Japan, will introduce off-road recreational vehicles. The car, named YXZ1000R, will be powered by a 100 percent emission-free hydrogen combustion engine.

Hydrogen engines have the potential to support decarbonization efforts while retaining internal combustion engine (ICE) technology. This is Yamaha's commitment to present alternative fuel vehicles in the future.

Not only YXZ1000R, Yamaha will also introduce a three-wheeled vehicle named Tricera. Although basically it's an electric motorcycle, Yamaha presents it with a very revolutionary design.

Tricera offers a highly responsive driving experience and carries the concept of "A Fun Urban Mobility: When a person's body, mind, and engine become an organic unit." This model provides unmatched freedom with an open roof.

Apart from Tricera, Yamaha will also introduce TMW, a three-wheeled motorcycle with more formidable characteristics. This vehicle is the result of collaboration with volunteer project members from the Yamaha motorcycle testing division.

TMW is Yamaha's first multi-wheeled off-road adventurer, with two independent front wheels, providing optimal capabilities for various terrain conditions. The manufacturer also installed a large front carrier rack to carry goods, and if that's not enough, the vehicle has a large baggage capacity.

What's interesting about TMW is the use of hybrid technology, where electric drive drives both front wheels while the rear wheels are powered by combustion engines.
