JAKARTA - Ahead of participating in the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), PT Sokoindo Automobile announced that it would present two of its brands, namely DFSK and Seres.

Since marking his debut in 2017, DFSK is preparing to introduce its superior product at the prestigious exhibition that took place at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

It will also mark GIIAS' debut for the Seres brand after the brand received a positive response after greeting the country's public in May.

Head of Marketing for PT Sokoindo Automobile, Achmad Rofiqi, said that his party is ready to welcome this annual automotive event by introducing the public to the public about DFSK and Seres products.

"The GIIAS 2023 exhibition is certainly a very appropriate moment for us to be present to bring all the portfolios offered and increasingly known to the public," said Rofiqi in his statement, Thursday, August 3.

DFSK will enliven the GIIAS 2023 exhibition by bringing all its models from passenger vehicles to commercial. Of course, the DFSK Glory Series will color the DFSK booth with its appearance that can meet the comfort of the community.

Not only that, visitors who are interested in testing the DFSK Glory Series can do a test drive during the exhibition. In addition, DFSK will also feature commercial vehicles such as Super Cab and Gelora.

Like last year's performance, DFSK will also carry a Gelora E minivan which is an electric-powered commercial vehicle that has been tested for a long journey. DFSK Gelora E is one of the products of PT Sokoindo which is assembled locally.

Unlike DFSK, which presents Internal Cumbustion Engine (ICE) products in Glory Series and Super Cab, Seres will focus on electrification by bringing one of its first products in Indonesia, namely E1, which was introduced last May.

Seres E1 will be revealed its specifications and first price in GIIAS 2023 on August 10-20. It is hoped that the presence of Seres E1 in the Indonesian electric vehicle market can provide competitive colors and competition amid the growth of the booming electric vehicle segment.

Seres will run a new energy vehicle corridor using core batteries, electric motors, and several other components. As a result, Seres became the first automotive brand to present 100 percent electric vehicles in Indonesia.
