Tesla Introduces Supercharging V4 Network In France, What's The Excess?

JAKARTA - Tesla's car is known as the world's most popular electric car. Since its inception, Tesla has successfully combined performance, advanced technology, innovative design, and environmental concern in each model.

In addition to successfully developing electric vehicles, Tesla has also succeeded in building a wide network of Supercharging charging stations in various locations around the world. This Supercharging station allows fast and efficient charging, allowing long-distance travel with minimal charging time.

To make it easier for users of Tesla cars and other electric cars, this manufacturer is now expanding its Supercharging network in Europe by launching the latest version of the fast charging station, namely Supercharging V4.

Quoted from InsideEVs, Saturday, July 8, Tesla has presented their second Supercharging V4 in France. Interestingly, this charging station can not only be used by Tesla cars, but also by non-Tesla electric cars.

The Supercharging V4 Station is located near the Ibis hotel in Clermont-Ferrand, France, and is equipped with 12 individual charging kiosks, including one special kiosk for large vehicles or trailers.

Supercharging V4 comes with an impressive design, with a combination of black and white and a higher shape. The charging cable is also longer, measuring about 2.9-3 meters, making it easier for electric car users to charge their vehicles efficiently.

For the European region, this Supercharging V4 plug is compatible with the CCS Combo 2 (CCS2) charging standard, which is used by Tesla and other non-Tesla electric vehicles.

This charging station can power up to 250 kilowatts per stall, but Tesla seems to be planning to deliver higher-power Supercharging in the future.

Tesla's presence of Supercharging in France is not without reason, given that the sale of the company's cars owned by Elon Musk recorded positive results. According to Tesla's claims, they have sold around 100,000 units of cars. In more detail, the first 50,000 units were sold within 13 years, while the next 50,000 units were sold in about 16 months.
