JAKARTA - Chairman of the MPR RI as well as Chairman of the Indonesian Motorcycle (IMI), Bambang Soesatyo invites the automotive community to increase social activities in the month of Ramadan.

According to him, Ramadan is the right moment to cultivate social awareness, including helping orphans and the two parties.

"The activity of breaking the fast together between members of the automotive community is a positive activity that must be encouraged. In addition to further strengthening the relationship between fellow members, it will also foster love and togetherness within the framework of friendship. Moreover, breaking the fast together is accompanied by compensation to orphans and the two people," said Bamsoet while attending the Ngabuburit Group Otomotif 1990 (GO90's) event which was attended by 600 classic and retro cars in the 90s at MotoVillage Kemang Jakarta, Saturday, April 8.

Present at the Central IMI Management included the Board of Trustees of Komjen (Ret.) Nanan Soekarna, the Social Commission for Kombes (Pol) Putu Putera, Inter-Institutional Relations Erwin MP and Communication and Media Dwi Nugroho. Also present were GO90's Founder Ivan Karniawan, Denny Dihartanto and MotoVillage Owners Kemang, Umar Lubis.

Go90's is an automotive community of young people from the Ali Topan era and Catatan Si Boy who usually hangs out in the Bulungan and Lintas Melawai areas of Blok M Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.

On this occasion, Bamsoet also invited the automotive community to work hand in hand to revive the Indonesian economy which was slumped due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, the Indonesian economy is starting to stretch in line with the decline in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia.

"The automotive community in Indonesia must be able to seize opportunities and optimize this revival momentum as well as possible. Therefore, I invite all of us to be part of the national economic recovery program. Among other things, by activating various automotive events to encourage the people's economy," said Bamsoet.

Bamsoet also reminded that the spirit of togetherness built in the automotive community is a manifestation of the national value that must continue to be fought for. Because in the future, the times and technological advances will change the paradigm, dynamics, and complexity of the various national challenges that will be faced.

The spirit of brotherhood that grows and develops in the automotive community must be manifested into a collective spirit and commitment by all elements of the nation. The strong spirit of brotherhood from the automotive community must be built and developed in order to become a very important social capital to strengthen the cohesion of national bonds," concluded Bamsoet.
