Dodge Challenger Modification: Back To The Past

Jakarta - For fans of muscular cars (American Muscle), they must know one of their iconic cars, Dodge Challenger.

The car, which was launched in 2008 and has a plate design inspired by the Challenger in the 60s, does look dashing.

Even so, the tuning company, eXoMod Concepts, was moved to modify it resembling the legendary 1968 Charger model.

The modification by eXoMod Concepts is called Quicksilver and takes about 1,500 hours to work as reported by Motor1, Wednesday, April 5.

As for what eXoMod does is that the body is replaced with carbon fiber so as not to increase the weight of the car. And that's right, the weight is reduced by 181kg from the standard Dodge Challenger.

In the engine section, eXoMod Concepts provides a V8 6.2 liter supercharged engine that can generate 807 dk of power. The machine is paired with a TorqueFlite transmission system eight accelerations belonging to Dodge.

In addition, this tuning company also made improvements to the braking system by equipping six-piston Brembo brake caps with a size of 15.7 inches. Car rims are also improved using 20-inch Forgeline rims made specifically and surrounded by NT555 Nitto rubber tires.

Currently, eXoMod Concepts only makes one modification of Challenger, namely Quicksilver, but customers interested can buy it for 345,000 US dollars or around Rp. 5.1 billion.

Apart from Challenger, eXoMod also plans to work on as many as 10 other cars with additional carbon and some changes based on the original model.
