JAKARTA - In an interview with Jeff Napier of Nuvo, KISS original guitarist Ace Frehley discussed his new album, 10.000 Volts, which is scheduled to attend February next year through the MNRK Music Group (previously eOne Music).

"This is probably the best album I've ever made. I'm very happy about it. This is the first time I've written most of these songs with my best friend, Steve Brown. He used to play at the Trixter and has a group called Rubix Kube," Frehley started.

"After all, we were 40 minutes away from each other, and my fianc Lara connected us. I've met him several times over the years, but only briefly, but he got to know him when he was in his thirties, and he said, 'You have to get together with Steve.' He's a great songwriter and guitar player. He sent me a song, and there was a line coming up from the refracise, and it was Walking On the Moon," he continued.

"So I said, 'Listen, let's get together and rewrite this song, and the song that was performed is Walking On the Moon', because it's not the end of the chorus part that he has prepared. So, we rewrite the song, and the results are good. We're actually going to name this album Walking On the Moon until we record a song called 10.000 Volts, which results are amazing."

For the drummer's position, Frehley then invited Anton Fig, the figure who played on guitarist's solo album, 78, and most of his solo songs.

"So working with Steve has made a big difference in my game and writing because when he and I put our minds together, everything immediately feels right away," Frehley said.

"If I lose chord, verse, or line, he comes to do it and vice versa, and within three or four hours, we write a song," he concluded.
