JAKARTA - Sheryl Crow shared details of her new studio album, Evolution, along with her new single Alarm Clock.

Evolution will be the singer-songwriter's 11th studio album and will be released on March 29, 2024 through The Valory Music Group.

Talking about the return of the surprise, Crow said in a social media statement: "Music and these lyrics come from sitting in silence and writing from the deep soul. I said I would never make an album again, because I thought it was useless. But this music comes from my soul. And I hope whoever hears this recording can feel it."

"Now everything is more song-oriented by streaming, and making albums is a big business," he continued. I started sending some demos to Mike (Elizondo), but the songs keep flowing out of me and it's pretty clear it's going to be an album.

The album was produced by Mike Elizondo (Dr. Dre, Maroon 5), who also wrote Alarm Clock with Crow and Emily Weisband.

Crow also stopped at The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday performing the Alarm Clock for the first time in public.
