TikTok Music Presents New Features For Music Discovery

JAKARTA - TikTok Music, which was launched in Indonesia in July 2023, is again presenting new features aimed at its users.

With the features presented, it will be easier for users to enjoy the music of their choice.

There are at least three new features presented, namely Party Mode, FYP Tuning and Tonic.

Party Mode is intended to provide a personalized, collaborative music listening experience.

Meanwhile, FYP Tuning allows users to select various musical atmospheres and moods. This can be done by sliding the screen to the right.

Then, there's the Tonik feature, which acts as a personal assistant for music discovery powered by ChatGPT.

Through the last feature, TikTok Music users can ask questions about music, such as searching for musicians, songs or playlists, asking about the latest music concert news, and finding out the stories behind certain songs.

Matthew Tanaya as Artist Promotions Lead for TikTok Music said that the response from users in Indonesia made his party come up with these new features.

"TikTok Music has received a very warm welcome from music fans in Indonesia. We are happy to be able to present more features for our users, including TikTok Music's newest music discovery personal assistant, Tonik," said Matthew Tanaya in his statement, Monday, October 23.

"We also hope to help our community discover and share more music on TikTok Music," he concluded.
