Rudy Nugraha Ex-Cffeine Celebrates 25 Years Of Work Through The First Solo Album

JAKARTA - After separating from Caffeine in 2022, Rudy Nugraha finally started a new journey in the music industry as a solo singer. He released his first album with the title Cinta + Logika = Various Stories or CLBK last September.

In his first album, Rudy Nugraha presents songs that are thick with 1990s nuances. The album title is also adapted to the term often used at that time.

The album title is CLBK, according to the 90s of the concept of music. For the class, the term (CLBK) is widely used. Finally, we from the same team, the label agreed to make the album name Cinta + Logika = Various Stories," said Rudy Nugraha in Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta last week.

Not only as a marker of the beginning of a new journey in music. This album is also a celebration of Rudy Nugraha's 25th anniversary of his career in the national music industry.

"I really intend to be dedicated to my 25 years (music career). So, there is something from my solo career," he said.

Meanwhile, romance is a big theme for the songs contained in the album. Seven songs are presented with links to each other.

"Incidentally, the name of the creator is Salman Alfari, all the songs are written with him. Most of the stories are from friends and oneself. It turns out that the material of the song is suitable for me. It's still universal with the theme of love. The concepts and lyrics of the song to the 90s, maybe the character of my voice still fits the songs 90s, finally it can be resolved," said Rudy.

The former caffeine vocalist also said that the album recording process had its own impression. Therefore, he saw this album as something that had a big meaning.

"The production is because (the backbiting) of Bandung and Jakarta, it's quite time-consuming. Sometimes I come here (the studio in Jakarta), then I get a cold, take a break, when I take it again I can't get it, then I go home again. That's the problem," concluded Rudy Nugraha.
