Paper Heart Introduces Yourself With Release Of 2 Singles

JAKARTA - The newcomer band Paper Heart released a double single debut titled All Done and In Pain. The two songs became the initial introduction of the band that carried the power pop genre.

Meanwhile, Paper Hearts from South Tangerang consist of Salvy (vocals), Mikael (guitar), Chiko (bass) and Hanin (drums). The two songs released involved Irish Riswoyo alias Irish Blackmore as producer.

All Done tells of a man who is in a toxic relationship and has finally separated from his partner. He feels much happier than the woman who still wants to return to love.

Different from All Done with the theme of romance, In Pain is inspired by the story of someone who is explored by the office where he works.

It took three months for this new band to work on songs, from recording to mixing and mastering.

"The production process should be fast, yes, but it becomes long because among us these personnel are both busy studying, some are thesis and some are preparing for graduation," said Paper Heart personnel in a statement, Monday, September 25.

Meanwhile, English used in song lyrics has its own reasons. Mikael hopes that they can become a big band and are also known abroad.

"If we can talk about big dreams, we want our songs to be enjoyed by the people of the world, not only the people of Indonesia. That's why we use the most widely used language throughout the world, namely English," said Mikael.

"This is not for style, but for big dreams. We all believe that the Indonesian people are very smart, so I think they understand English," concluded Salvy.
