Dee Snider Criticizes Metallica's No Repeat Weekend Concert With The Call 'Commerging Yourself'

JAKARTA - Dee Snider of Twisted Sister argues that Metallica's concert concept, No Repeat Weekend'serves self'.

This glam frontman expressed his opinion on the structure of Metallica's performance during her recent performance at Shout It Loudcast (September 2).

He explained why he was against bands featuring two very different sets of lists on their shows.

The discussion comes as metal veterans open up the 'No Repeat Weekend' structure for their ongoing '72 Seasons' tour, meaning that when they play nights in a row at one location, they will feature two very different sets of lists and open two different bands every night.

While this gives fanatical fans the opportunity to see this thrash metal band feature some rare songs that are rarely played and give two unique shows every night, Snider criticizes the choice, saying it makes most viewers disappointed.

"I didn't realize they were doing that, and I thank them. But I think it's just for self-interest and attracts only a small part of the audience," he started (via Blabbermouth).

The majority of people who watch this show, they come to watch hits. The percentage of people who know deeper songs and are willing to accept not listening to Enter Sandman one night, is a small group of people.
