Never Tired Of Singing Is The Reason Elvy Sukaesih Remains Existing At The Age Of 72

JAKARTA - The legendary dangdut singer Elvy Sukaesih still wants to exist in the Indonesian music industry even though she is 72 years old.

For him, singing is a pleasure in itself that never makes him feel tired.

"I'm never tired, I'm always happy to sing," said Elvy Sukaesih in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta recently.

Elvy Sukaesih also told how he was often asked to sing impromptuly when invited to an event.

"Sometimes when I go to an invitation, my son says this 'Umi I request a song'. Later it will be held at gunpoint, it can be three songs," said Elvy.

"I don't know, the more we sing, especially good music, especially the sound is good, so we want to continue singing," he said

The singer with the nickname Ratu Dangdut also admitted that she still had several gig offers to this day.

"Alhamdulillah, yes, if it happens (to get an offer) yes (accepted), the important thing is that we always ask for a healthy prayer walafiat," he said.

Because there are still many requests, Elvy also chooses to remain present and has not thought of retiring.

In fact, he admitted that he was preparing to release a new song in the near future.
