JAKARTA - In a recent interview with Sara Parker from the Philadelphia WMMR radio station, Disturbed frontman David Draiman said he would be very happy to cover Taylor Swift's song.

According to Draiman, Swift is one of the most productive songwriters of the current generation.

"I think he is very talented. I want to collaborate with Taylor (Swift) if he wants him, on any given day," said the frontman.

"I've said this before, I'll say it again: I think she's a brilliant woman. I think she, as I said, was one of the greatest songwriters of our time," Draiman continued.

"I love his courage. I love the fact that he appears on stage in front of tens of thousands of young female fans screaming and playing real musical instruments and singing live and is a real thing."

"I mean, there are a number of people in the pop genre who are still doing it the same way that he did it - Pink is one of them; Lady Gaga is one of them." "Many of these people are very talented and great at what they do, and he is of course far away, far up there. I have nothing but great respect for him."

Last May, indie rock singer Phoebe Bridgers, who became Swift's opening artist in several pop star Eras tour concerts, caught Draiman's attention after he repeatedly performed one of Disturbed's old hits, Down With The Sickness.

When the video clip went viral, Draiman shared the clip on his Twitter account.

"Phoebe Bridgers is absolutely incredible,' with two-hand emoji raised. He added: "I love it! You are welcome to come see our show whenever you want!" Draiman also tagged Swift's Twitter account and included the hashtag #TaylorSwiftErasTour.

Meanwhile, Disturbed's eighth studio album, which was recently released, Divisive, contains the song Don't Tell Me, which is an epic emotional duet with Ann Wilson of Heart. The song marks the first time the band has partnered with guest musicians on their album.
