This Is The Reason Katy Perry Hasn't Released A New Song Since Giving Birth

JAKARTA - Katy Perry revealed the reason he hasn't released new music since giving birth to his daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, in 2020, and the pop star said she hasn't left music forever.

"I haven't released any new material since my dear Daisy," Katy said at the Good Morning America show, quoted by Antara, Monday.

"I think I'm writing a lot (of songs) and have written a lot from a place full of love, because I feel it so much, so much unconditional love, love that you never know of its existence," he added.

However, the song had to wait, because Katy, who was nearing the end of his concert series, "Play", in Las Vegas, was handling many responsibilities at the same time.

"I always write, I had written, but I think the most important thing for me is to celebrate the world that I have to build with all these beautiful songs and be responsible for the life of a 3-year-old child," added Orlando Bloom's fianc.

"I'll come back, but let me do this business," he added.

In fact, the singer of Teenage Dream said that her daily life was to have as much time as possible for Daisy.

"I had to take my daughter to PAUD this morning. I'm going home tonight, wearing a robe, still with messy makeup and lipstick, cutting some olives, and some wine for him," Katy explained.

But being able to wake up in Las Vegas to feature a series of 'Play' concerts, has been an unforgettable experience for Katy, who feels he is growing with every appearance.

"I am very grateful for the continuous opportunity to continue to develop as an artist, as a human, as a mother, and to be able to continue to bring joy to other people's lives through art, entertainment and visuals." said the 38-year-old woman.

His last album was Smile which was released in 2020.
