Melly Goeslaw Takes 2 Weeks To Make A Song For Suzzanna: Kliwon Friday Night

However, Melly said that initially she hoped to be involved as a player in the film because she was a hardline fan of Suzzanna.

"Actually, I don't intend to make a soundtrack in this film, I contacted Sunil, I said I wanted to play, so what are you, being a Koran teacher, because I really love Suzzanna," said Melly during a press conference in Jakarta, Thursday, quoted by Antara.

Unfortunately, said Melly, when he persuaded the producer, the filming process was scheduled to be carried out in the coming days so that there was not enough time for him to join the ranks of players.

Sunil finally offered to fill in the film's OST. Without thinking, Melly immediately accepted the offer.

"I'm very happy, at least I'm involved in my idol film," added Melly.

He also said that he did not experience significant difficulties when making it because it only took two weeks, except when he had to position himself as not a Suzzanna fan so that the songs he made could match the tragic film stories.

"Suzzanna's film is a tragic story, so I actually made instruments that don't want to damage the mood of the film which is already good, we just strengthen it," said Melly.

Suzzanna: Friday Eve Kliwon was directed by Guntur Soeharjanto, who has a track record as a director of box office films.

The film, which is scheduled to be released on August 3, 2023, stars Luna Maya as Suzzanna, Achmad Megantara as Surya, Tyo Pakusadewo as Raden Aryo, Sally Marcelina as Interest, Taskya Namya as Ratih, Opie Kumis as Rojali, Adi Bing Slamet as Japra, to Clift Sangra as a fighter.

Suzanna: Friday night Kliwon tells the story of Suzzana who is satayed on Friday night Kliwon. After his death, he came back to take revenge in the form of a sundelpant ghost.
