Behind Raisa And Ahmad Dhani's Collaboration In The New Version Of Song To Become Memories

Raisa and Ahmad Dhani for the first time sang the song Let's Be Memories for the public at Istora Senayan at the "51 Years of the Kingdom of Love Ahmad Dhani" concert on Sunday night.

The news of the plan for this project was revealed by Ahmad Dhani through his Instagram account @ahmadhaniofficial on May 19.

In a footage uploaded, the appearance of Ahmad Dhani's studio can be seen, where he is busy discussing and interacting with Raisa.

Initially, Raisa, who also liked cats, was surprised to learn that Ahmad Dhani kept 40 black cats.

The discussion of cats has become intense, starting from various types of cats to the uniqueness and habits of Ahmad Dhani's pet cat called Crescent.

Apart from talking about cats, Raisa and Ahmad Dhani conducted workshops and recordings for their latest collaboration, the song Biar Menjadi Kenangan.

Ahmad Dhani as the songwriter feels that this song has never been sung by anyone other than Reza Artamevia and Masaki Ueda after its release in 2000.

This new version is produced by S/EEK, where Ahmad Dhani worked on the strings, while Raisa gave new memories through her voice.

When presented in front of the audience at the "51 Years of the Kingdom of Love Ahmad Dhani" concert, the Dewa 19 band frontman named his duet with Raisa.

"Frankly, I chose Raisa in this song not because of her beauty, but her beautiful voice. I call this duet beauty and theomalous," said Ahmad Dhani.
