Brian May Praises Nuno Bettencourt's Game: Very Beautiful And Far From What I Can Do

JAKARTA - Queen guitarist Brian May expressed his admiration for Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme.

He said this in an interview when asked for his response after being named the Best Rock Guitarist of All Time (GOAT).

Brian has recently been touted as a GOAT of rock guitar by Guitar World, and in an interview with The Howard Stern Show, he said that even though he was honored by the title, he did not believe anyone could judge guitarists in terms of greatness.

"You can't say who's the best. The fun thing about playing guitar for everyone is different," Brian said.

"You can't really rank people. Of course I also have my favorites, but the fact that people put me in that position makes me smile."

Brian then mentioned several of his personal guitar heroes, including Jeff Beck, Steve Vai, Ericxi and many more. But there is one guitarist that he really enjoys right now. Who is he?

There are people I listen to every day who do things I can never do. Nuno, I listen to Nuno Bettencourt and I just smile because it's so beautiful and far from what I can do," Brian praised Nuno.

"It doesn't bother me, because I don't feel competitive, I love this guy and I love what he does,"
