JAKARTA - Static-X announced a new album Project Regination: Vol. 2, which will feature the latest recording of the late vocalist Wayne Static.

Prior to the album, which will be released on November 3, the band shared its first single - a cover from Nine Inch Nails titled Terrible Lie.

Wayne Static died at the age of 48 in 2014. Four years after his death, the nu-metalLERs announced that they would reunite as a tribute to their late bandmates.

In 2019, they introduced their mysterious tour vocalist, Xer0, who later became known as the Edsel Dope of the Dope metal industrial band.

Project Reeneration: Vol. 2 follows Project Regination: Vol. 1, including Wayne's vocals found in his archive. The remaining band members, Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitar) and Ken Jay (drums), recorded music for both albums.

I'm very happy with the recording for Project Reeneration: Vol. 2 finally finished, and the album is currently being mixed by our old producer Ulrich Wild. The only thing left is the making of a disk," Campos said in a press release.
