Complete List of Winners of South Korea's Biggest Music Awards, Melon Music Awards 2022

JAKARTA  - The 2022 Melon Music Awards (MMA) which was held on Saturday, November 26, has officially announced the winners. Initiated by the largest digital music platform in South Korea, Melon, MMA is one of the biggest music awards events in South Korea.

The four daesang categories (highest award) in MMA 2022 were won by three musicians. Trot singer, Lim Young Woong won two categories, while the other two categories were won by IVE and BTS.

Not only winning two daesangs, Lim Young Woong became the artist with the most wins at MMA 2022, he won five categories, including Best Artist of the Year, Best Album of the Year, Best Solo Artist Award, Melon Top 10 Awards and Netizen Popularity Award.

Furthermore, IVE and BTS both won four categories. IVE won Best Song of the Year, Best New Artist Awards, Best Group and Melon Top 10 Awards. While BTS won Best Record of the Year, Best Group, Melon Top 10 Awards and KakaoBank Everyone's Star.

NewJeans, a girl group made by ADOR which debuted on July 22 2022, also received an award as the best newcomer with IVE. This victory is NewJeans' second win, after previously they won an award at The Fact Music Awards on October 8.
