JAKARTA - K-pop group Super Junior is preparing for their SUPER SHOW 9 tour. Recently they held a concert in Bangkok, Thailand on July 30 and 31.

The enthusiasm of ELF (as Super Junior fans are called) in Bangkok can be felt. Leeteuk as the leader of the group was happy to be able to go on a concert tour after three years.

"The first country we visited after our debut was Thailand, and the first country we visited again after facing the pandemic was Thailand," Leeteuk quoted JTBC as saying today, Monday, August 1.

“The members are very enthusiastic. This is the performance we've been waiting for. When I arrived in Thailand, the fans warmly welcomed me," he explained.

During the concert, Super Junior performed several hit songs including their newest song, Mango. This song became the lead single from the album The Road: Keep On Going.

“I feel much happier. I'm happy to be able to spend time with fans after a long time not seeing each other," he said.

JTBC reports that Super Junior will continue their tour to several countries, namely the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur during the second half of this year.

It is not yet known who the promoter will be bringing Super Junior. However, Indonesia became one of the countries most frequently visited by group members.

Super Junior last visited Indonesia at SUPER SHOW 8: INFINITE TIME in January 2020.
