From Indonesia To The World, Toyota Holds Mejeng Concept At The 2023 Japan Mobility Show

PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) has the honor of participating in the 2023 Japan Mobility Show (JMS) event at Tokyo Big Sight Japan, October 26 to November 5, 2023.

With the Total Mobility Solution for All vision, PT TAM presents the Rangga Concept as the first commercial concept vehicle in Indonesia, which is expected to provide support for customer business mobility and become the driving force for the country's economy.

The Concept range is also expected to inspire multipurpose vehicles as a mobility solution, with a diversity of styles and uses to the world community.

"In line with the Mobility for All vision, we see this golden opportunity as an opportunity to show Toyota Indonesia's experience and ability to present a commercial vehicle that can be converted, to meet diverse and complex business needs and support the country's economy," said President Director of PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), Hiroyuki Ueda, in an official statement received by VOI, Friday, October 27.

He further hopes that Toyota Indonesia's work can inspire foreign countries to be interested in using the Kongga Concept conversion as a business utility.

The first Rangga Concept was introduced at the GIIAS 2023 event, in response to the increasing demand for mobility in the business sector, and the attention of many visitors because it is very functional.

Toyota sees that the scale of customer needs has developed much more diverse and more complex than in the golden age of Kijang pickup. Functionality, reliability, and durability remain an important point that must be put forward. However, the appearance of the vehicle must also show the identity of a modern Toyota car.

Echoed as a Hero (Rangga) for business actors, since the initial process of Toyota immediately invited the participation of local bodybuilders, in presenting the Prototype Rangga Concept which can be converted to meet the diversity of mobility according to the business sector.
