Debut In Indonesia, All-New Honda CR-V Priced From IDR 700 Million

JAKARTA - Honda car distributor for Indonesia, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), officially launched All-New CR-V at the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).

Since it was first launched in 2022 in the US, the All New Honda CR-V has received good reception thanks to its design and technology.

Carrying the theme "Ahead in Perfection", the sixth generation CR-V comes as a premium SUV in Indonesia featuring an elegant and luxurious design. Not only that, this SUV has the convenience of driving with more impressive performance than before.

President Director of PT HPM, Kotaro Shimizu, said All New CR-V is the right model for the Indonesian people by introducing hybrid technology in Indonesia. Moreover, the Honda CR-V is positioned as a flagship SUV in Indonesia with its good performance and global popularity.

"By offering more advanced technology, more powerful and more efficient performance, and more premium designs, we believe All New Honda CR-V will also be welcomed by consumers in Indonesia," Shimizu said in a statement, Friday, August 11.

Just like the Australian market, the All-New Honda CR-V is presented with two heart runway options, namely a 1.5 liter gasoline machine and a 2.0 liter gasoline engine equipped with the Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) system.

The initial variant of Honda CR-V 2024 is equipped with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which produces up to 187 dk of power and 243 Nm of torque. This variant is available with a two-wheel drive system (2WD) and all wheels (AWD).

Meanwhile, for the hybrid variant, the Honda CR-V e: HEV RS has a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle DOHC in collaboration with two electric motors, generating up to 204 dk of power and 335 Nm of torque and 1.06 kWh of lithium-ion battery.

For systems e: HEV, All-New CR-V can run in three driving modes, namely EV Mode, Hybrid Mode, and Engine mode which will automatically change according to road conditions, driving, engine load, and driving.

Honda Sensing technology is also presented to meet the needs of customers, consisting of the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Adaptive Cruise Control with Low-Speed Follow (ACC with LSF), Road Departure Mitigation System with Lane Departure Warning (RDM with LDW), Lead Car Departure Notification System (LCDN), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Auto High Beam (AHB).

The All-New CR-V is also equipped with eight airbags on the front, side, and bottom for the knee to avoid the risk of injury and death in the event of an accident. The latest CR-V also has Active Cornering Light which helps users see objects up front as they turn.

The price of this premium SUV was only announced today. For type 1.5 L turbo, priced at IDR 739.9 million (OTR Jakarta). Meanwhile, for type 2.0 L or All New CR-V Hybrid, the price is IDR 799.9 million (OTR Jakarta).

Consumers can also choose several interesting color options in this model starting from Platinum White Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic and the latest colorcavity River Blue Metallic. Especially for RS e: HEV, it has elegant Ignite Red Metallic colors.
