BMW XM, Fastest SAV Officially Presented At GIIAS 2023 At Fantastic Price

JAKARTA - The existence of a well-known automotive manufacturer from Germany, BMW, is one of the highlights of the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS). BMW participated by sharing the stage with Mini at the BMW Group pavilion. In this exhibition, they showed a variety of stunning latest models.

Bringing the spirit of the GIIAS theme this edition, namely "Future Now", BMW appeared with the concept of "The Next Level of Luxury". They feature a row of 24 new BMW and 8 Mini units in the special booth they founded.

However, the excitement of opening the BMW Group pavilion in this edition also presented the debut of one of their latest innovations.

Through the BMW Group Indonesia, they present one of their fastest Sports Activity Vehicles (SAVs), BMW XM. This SAV is not just a powered vehicle, but also puts forward an electric propulsion system, making it a manifestation of environmentally friendly high performance.

President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, Ramesh Divyanathan, expressed his pride in BMW XM. He said that this vehicle has won the sympathy of its loyal fans around the world. BMW XM offers uncompromising design, technology, and quality, while upholding sustainability, as evidenced by the adoption of the Plug-In Electric Vehicle (PHEV) technology implemented.

"All the latest BMW car series that we present not only prioritize the best design, technology, and quality in the segment, but also provide extraordinary experience for drivers and passengers, both at the front and back," he said, Thursday, August 10.

As an amazing achievement, BMW XM is called the fastest SAV this manufacturer has ever produced. The car combines conventional V8 engine power with an electric motor powered, resulting in impressive dynamic performance.

Through the synergy of the two driving units, BMW XM is able to produce peak power up to 653 dk which is channeled through the M Hybrid system. This great power is the result of a combination of a combustion engine with a power of 489 dk and a 197 dk electric motor.

With the embedded Plug-In Hybrid technology, BMW XM can also rely on pure electric power to go up to a distance of 80 km.

Performance advantages are not the only thing that BMW XM has highlighted. The tough design is reinforced by the touch of M high-gloss Shadowline, an aerodynamic package from the M division, a legendary BMWian grILL, and a lightweight but high-powered 23-inch rim from the top performance line.

More than just a tempting look, BMW XM also offers comfort and top luxury. This can be seen in M's accent on the steering wheel and seat belt that emits a sporty aura.

BMW XM is also exhibited with a BMW Live Cockpit Professional package that has a frameless curved display, a 12.3-inch multifunctional instrument display, and a 14.9-inch wide touchscreen. The magnitude is growing with the presence of Augmented View on the touch screen, BMW gesture control, and a wireless charging drawer that further lifts the experience of driving with BMW XM to a more sophisticated and modern level.

With all this high-end attraction, BMW XM has a value that cannot be ruled out. In the Indonesian market, this fastest SAV is valued at around IDR 5.5 billion Off The Road.
