Ahead Of Debut At GIIAS 2023, Neta Reveals The Model To Be Shown

JAKARTA - The enthusiasm for the largest automotive event in Southeast Asia, Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, is getting hotter. Various automotive manufacturers in Indonesia are preparing to introduce the latest products to the public.

GIIAS 2023 will be the debut stage for a manufacturer from China, Neta. The brand associated with Horon Auto will premiere in the Indonesian market after successfully expanding the reach of its products to various countries.

With a simple theme, "Hallo Indonesia, This is Neta," Neta is ready to greet the Indonesian automotive world through GIIAS 2023 and introduce herself as a new, enthusiastic participant.

After sparking curiosity about the products to be introduced, Neta finally provided clues. Through a post on Neta Auto Indonesia's official Instagram account on Friday, August 4, Neta revealed that they would bring three flagship models to GIIAS 2023.

The three faces of these models can be seen in the post, namely Neta U, Neta V, and Neta S, all of which are production cars.

Neta U is a compact SUV that has been introduced since 2019. With a five-door design, this electric car is produced at the Hozon New Energy Automobile factory in Yichun, Jiangxi, China.

Not only the display, but Neta U also has impressive performance. The choice of a single electric motor or double-permanent magnet synchronous motor produces power ranging from 161 dk to 295 dk for the most powerful variant.

Supported by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 54 kWh to 81 kWh from the Hozon Auto, Neta U can cover a distance ranging from 400 km to 660 km.

Then, there is Neta V, an SUV subcompact. Introduced since 2020, Neta V has a HPC 3.0 platform with front-driven electric motors, generating up to 54 dk to 94 dk of power.

Although smaller than Neta U, Neta V or also known as Neta AYA, has a battery option of 35 kWh to 55 kWh which can reach a distance of 301 km to 401 km with one charge.

Finally, there is Neta S, a sedan sports car. Launched in 2022, this car is based on the Neta Eureka 03 concept. Neta S comes in a hybrid version with a segaris 1.5L 4-cylinder engine combined with an electric generator. EV version is also available with a single or double electric motor.

The hybrid variant is equipped with a 43.5 kWh battery or 43.8 kWh which produces a combined distance of up to 1,160 km of gasoline and electricity.

No less interesting, the EV version of Neta S has a lithium-ion ternary battery with a capacity of 64.4 kWh to 91 kWh which can cover a distance of 520 km to 1,100 km in the NEDC cycle.

It is certain that Neta Indonesia will bring six cars for this event. Even though the other three cars are still mysterious, we can hope that interesting products will be presented by Neta.

In addition to showing off six cars at their booths, Neta will also open the "Neta Corner" which provides information about this brand to GIIAS 2023 visitors.
