JLR has just announced the Range Rover Evoque has undergone an update for 2023 with simplifications in the trim lineup and interior design changes inspired by the large Range Rover.

Quoted by the Land Rover media space, Wednesday, June 21, one of the significant changes is the introduction of a curved infotainment touch screen measuring 11.4 inches, which has previously been used on the new Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

All core functions, including climate control, have been integrated into new screen software. The climate control panel previously located under the dashboard has been replaced with storage space equipped with wireless charging pads. There is a sidebar on both sides of the touchscreen that provides easy access to essential functions, so as many as 80% of the task can be done with just two taps.

Features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto have also become standard, as well as Amazon Alexa voice control. Wi-Fi connectivity with data packages allows new Evoques to be updated by air, thus eliminating the need to take them to dealers to install new software.

In addition, there are also remote applications that allow lockdown and remote key unlocking, interior conditioning, and cost settings (for plug-in hybrid models).

In addition to the digital upgrade, the updated Evoque cabin also introduces a new PM2.5 air purification system (as part of the Comfort Pack) and a variety of non-shell coating options, such as Kvadrat runny. According to the release, thisANGle has a weight of 58% lighter than the skin, but remains robust after passing 60,000 cycles of abrasion testing that simulated wear for a decade.

The powertrain ranks have also been revised. Except for the D165 entry-level diesel variant with manual gearboxes, all Evoque variants now have power sources, both as a 48V light hybrid and plug-in hybrid.

With the new battery chemical change, the official distance with only electricity in the P300e PHEV variant has increased from 38 to 39 miles (62 km). This means for daily use, just use electric power.

The P300e PHEV variant is also equipped with DC fast charging capabilities, so charging time only takes 30 minutes at the 50kW charging point. However. charging using a 7kW (like at home) point takes about two hours to charge a 14.9kWh battery. Meanwhile, other powertrains, including D165 and D200 diesel engines, as well as P200 and P250 gasoline units, are all 48V light hybrid with automatic gearbox.

The trim ranks have also been simplified to four levels, namely S, Dynamic SE, Dynamic HSE, and Autobiography. The lowest price in the UK starts at 40,080 pounds (around Rp767 million) for the non-hybrid D165 manual variant in the trim S.
