Asked To Sing, Ibnu Jamil Instead Apologizes

Actor Ibnu Jamil has finally returned to the big screen after being absent for 2 years. He will play in the film directed by Garin Nugroho with the title Kejalah Janji.

In this film, Ibnu plays the role of Promise An Effort that is the village head in a village that wants to run for re-election in the general election (election). Ibnu told about the difficulties he experienced during the shooting process.

"If there is actually difficulty, it's just because we do have Mas Garin, then the opponents who are all cooperative, we can overcome difficulties," said Ibnu Jamil in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Thursday, September 14.

Being a village head has its own challenges for Ibnu, especially in deepening his character. This is because he has to be the village head while he lives in the capital.

"So I've never been the village head, I also don't know how to become the village head, then what kind of lurah habits, I still don't know, but when I happened to get an offer from Mas Garin, the first search was browsing on YouTube," he continued.

"If the village head is what he usually does, what words he always says, the village head is always present at the women's event, whether it's recitation, between an arisan or PKK event and like having the characteristics of each region and that's what I learned," he added.

Having a musical element in the film, Ibnu is also challenged by Garin Nugroho to sing. But quickly, Ririn Ekawati's husband refused for the safety of the film.
