For Clarification, Baekhyun EXO Will Establish A New Company

JAKARTA - Baekhyun EXO made a clarification regarding a number of rumors circulating after the case of filing for termination of the contract with SM Entertainment. On Tuesday, August 8 at midnight, he turned on a live broadcast on Instagram.

Previously, Baekhyun and Chen and Xiumin filed for termination of the contract after finding no transparency from the agency regarding their income. After some time, both parties decided to terminate the proposal and the three idols continued to join the agency.

"To be honest, I'm always curious about transparency and things related to the contract. In the middle, we faced various situations due to the absence of Lee Soo Man (former of SM Entertainment) and I think that makes me even more curious," Baekhyun said.

"I think I wanted to find out firsthand because for two years I was in the military, I worked hard to study vocals, gave me a look after my tenure ended about how we could release albums for fans after two years, and I took time for myself," he explained.

The EXO vocalist also confirmed rumors about the new company he made. But he also explained from his side about the company.

This is a company that I made with my friend Kasper as an initial to develop good choreographers and dancers. I'm doing a search and trying different things for good results and purposes," he said.

The company will be named One Signature for a while but that's not the last result. Baekhyun also explained the news that said he had just bought a villa in the Hannam area and received a loan.

On that occasion, Baekhyun also explained why he had not released a new album after the military obligation.

"The reason why I haven't released the album is not because I lost my dream but I think it's an important time in my life," said Baekhyun, who claimed to be interested in production.

"I'm sorry to make fans go through a difficult situation. I think the company I created was my company with fans. Hopefully my sincerity can be conveyed," concluded Baekhyun.

Despite having a new company, Baekhyun emphasized that he would not leave EXO or SM Entertainment. This company was created to focus on developing choreographers but could not be separated from Baekhyun's solo activities later.

Meanwhile, Baekhyun and EXO just released their latest album, EXIST with the main track Cream Soda.
