He also thanked SM Entertainment so that he could debut as Sunny from Girls' Generation. Not only that, he also appreciated the managers and employees who helped him during his career.

Sunny's departure from SM Entertainment was suspected after no 16-year-old remarks were officially written by Sunny. While other members of Oh!GG such as Taeyeon, YoonA, Yuri, and Hyoyeon shared messages via social media.

Sunny debuted as a member of Girls' Generation in 2007 with Into The New World. Apart from being a member, she is also active on a number of television shows and contributes her voice to several drama soundtracks.
