NCT Dream Releases Broken Melodies Love Song, First Track From ISTJ

JAKARTA - NCT Dream released a music video and song Broken Melodies on Monday, June 19. This song is their latest work after releasing Candy for the last time at the end of 2022.

Broken Melodies are pop tracks that tell stories about their desire to take care of their feelings even though they are separated from their loved ones. The track is dominated by English, especially in the chorus.

Life is but a dream, we got history (I just care)/ Feel the chemistry, feel you next to me (You know that I)/ Hate this distance, because I'm just left here singing / Lonely harmonics, broken melodies, as the lyrics read.

The music video shows video clips of NCT Dream members having fun on the rugby field. This video is even more unique when several scenes are made like pieces of magazines and newspapers.

Broken Melodies are pre-release tracks from their latest album titled ISTJ. The song was first announced after NCT Dream held an encore concert The Dream Show 2: In Your Dream in Seoul, South Korea.

At the end of the concert, NCT Dream announced they had a gift for fans, before showing the Broken Melodies teaser.

The album ISTJ is their third studio album to be released on July 17. The album marks the latest work in the middle of NCT Dream which continues the tour of The Dream Show in South America.

Since its first release, Broken Melodies' music video has been watched by more than 2.4 million viewers. In addition, said NCT Dream and Broken Melodies occupy a trending topic on Twitter as well as prove fans' waiting for their latest release.
