JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) is developing the implementation of the community's periodic health check program which is included in the implementation of the CERDIK lifestyle to be implemented at the level of the Integrated Service Post (Posyandu).

"Now we plan to get to Posyandu with the hope that the public will be aware of their current health condition," said Project ManagerOfficer of the Directorate of Health Promotion and Community Empowerment of the Ministry of Health Syahrul Efendi to reporters during a press conference at Neuropathy Awareness Week 2023 in the Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, Sunday.

CERDIK, which stands for periodic health checks, cigarette smoke removal, diligent exercise, healthy and balanced diet, adequate rest, and stress management, is a healthy lifestyle campaign from the Ministry of Health.

One of the main points of CERDIK is to urge the public to do regular health checks, which ideally do once a month or at least once in six months.

"At least once a month for health, the longest is once every six months," Syahrul said as quoted by Antara.

Syahrul explained that the public can take advantage of the Integrated Inmates Post (Posbindu) to check the risk factors for non-communicable diseases. Currently, Posbindu is available in all Puskesmas spread across Indonesia.

"Facilities at the Puskesmas already have certain disease detection activities that are not contagious, with the Posbindu program and that can be done at the puskesmas," said Syahrul.

He added that public health condition data from health facilities was then integrated into the ONESEHAT platform, which is an updated version of PeduliLindung. On the platform, users can find out information about medical record data, health services, and the availability of drugs.

Syahrul explained that currently the health check program at Posyandu is still in the development stage and has only been implemented in some cities and districts. He hopes that the program can be available in all Posyandu in Indonesia.
