JAKARTA - Taeyong NCT started a series of promotions for the release of its first mini album. The album, entitled SHALALA, was announced in the form of a cinematic trailer today, Monday, May 15.
The trailer in less than a minute shows Taeyong in a different appearance. Starting from Taeyong who plays the piano, looks fiery, and elegant with red and white clothes.
The transition from one appearance to another runs quickly until the video ends with six Taeyong figures facing the camera.
The Taeyong logo and the title album SHALALA are displayed. The album will be released on June 5 at 18.00 South Korean time.
Some of NCT members have released solo tracks but Taeyong is the first member to debut as an official singer with a solo album.
Taeyong released his first solo song Long Flight through the SM Station project in 2019. He showed his ability to create and write songs for NCT and several units.
