JAKARTA - Ari Wibowo is in the public spotlight after being found to have sued for divorce from his wife, Inge Anugrah. The German-born man filed his lawsuit at the South Jakarta District Court (PN) on April 3.

Petrus Bala Pattyona as Inge Anugrah's attorney said that in his lawsuit, Ari Wobowo asked for custody of his two children, Kenzo Wibowo and Marco Wibowo.

"In the lawsuit, the plaintiff also asked the Panel of Judges to hand over custody of their two children, to the plaintiff, citing the closeness between the child and father," said Petrus in a written release on Monday, April 17.

However, Petrus stated that his client was still given the opportunity to meet and take his two children for a walk as far as Ari Wibowo knew.

"But what will happen later, we will see at the end of the trial," said Petrus.

The first trial of Ari Wibowo's divorce lawsuit against Inge Anugrah with the mediation agenda being held on Monday, April 17 at the South Jakarta District Court.

However, mediation failed to take place because Ari Wibowo replaced his attorney, from SL Damayanti and Martono to Saragih. Petrus said that if the new attorney from his client's husband had not been able to show a letter of revocation of power from SL. Damayanti, the judge thought that the verification was incomplete.

"Because of that mediation cannot be carried out because the verification has not been completed," concluded Petrus Bala Pattyona.

The trial for Ari Wibowo's divorce from Inge Anugrah, which is registered with case number 324/Pdt.G/2023/PN.Jkt.Sel, will be held again on 8 May.
