JAKARTA - Noel Gallagher announced that his fourth studio album with High Flying Birds will be released on June 2 through Sour Mash. Titled Council Skins, this album has just introduced Easy Now's newest single.

Following up on the album Who Built The Moon? which was released in 2017, this full album shows the former Oasis guitarist reclaiming his past and paying tribute to his Mancunian roots (axes and dialects used in most parts of Manchester).

Gallagher's Council Skies is described as "the most varied and most successful solo record to date".

This will go back to the beginning. Going down, looking into the sky and wondering about what life looks like... it's true to me now like in the early 90s, Gallagher explained about his upcoming album quoted by NME.

When I grow up in poverty and unemployment, music takes me out of there. Top Of The Pops on TV turns Thursday night you into this fantasy world, and I think music should be like that. I want my music to increase and change in some ways.

Council Skins was recorded at his Lone Star Sound Recording Studios in London, while the string filling was recorded at the legendary forced Road Studio.

Produced by Gallagher with longtime collaborator Paul 'Strangeboy'ISIh, the album also features guest musician Johnny Marr on three songs, including the previous single Pretty Boy.
