Jimin BTS Called Will Release Solo Album, This Is An Agency Response

JAKARTA - Jimin is rumored to be the newest BTS member to release his solo debut. Today, Monday, January 16, Sports DongA reports Jimin is preparing an album that will be released in the near future.

In an instant, the agency Big Hit Music responded to the news. But they stated to look forward to official news.

Detail information will be announced after the schedule is certain," said Big Hit Music.

This confirms that Jimin is working on a new album whose release date is not yet known.

This news circulated a few days after Jimin became a collaborator on Taeyang's song Vibe. He explained that this collaboration stemmed from the suggestion of The Black Label founder, Teddy Park.

"I don't think it's possible because we don't know each other. But last year, I attended a lot of private events where I got acquainted with BTS members including Jimin," Taeyang told NME.

"From there we started talking about music and we agreed we would collaborate and the plan was smooth after that," continued Taeyang.

Jimin himself contributed his voice several times solo to the album, including Lie, Filter, and Serendipity. Meanwhile, Jimin fills the soundtrack of Our Blues with Ha Sung Woon.

Ahead of the military schedule, BTS announced they would focus on individual activities. After Jin with The Astronaut, followed by J-Hope releasing the album Jack in the Box.

Then there is RM with the album Idigo at the end of 2022. Meanwhile, V, Jungkook, and Suga had revealed that they were working on a solo project even though they had not stated when their music project would be released.
