JAKARTA - Julie Tan Herisman, mother of Larissa Chou expressed her displeasure with Alvin Faiz's accusations against her daughter. She did not accept it when Larissa's name was teased by Alvin, who was divorced in May 2021. Alvin Faiz is the son of a well-known preacher, the late Ustad Muhammad Arifin Ilham.

By reason of self-defense, Alvin recently uploaded a conversation that Larissa allegedly had with a man when he was still his wife.

Julie tan did not remain silent and expressed her disappointment with Alvin Faiz through her Instagram account. She felt that her former son-in-law was not wise in acting.

"What about his mistakes which are far more fatal and my daughter still covers up to this day? Having been married twice, he should be wiser in his behavior," she wrote in Insta Story, Sunday, January 15th.

Larissa's mother said she regretted ever giving up her daughter to a man she considered incompetent as a husband. "From the beginning, I entrusted my daughter to be guided by the man of her choice. I let go of my daughter and entrusted my daughter to be loved and guided properly," she said.

"My daughter accompanies the man of her choice since she has no place to live and lives in the mosque. My daughter accompanies her in difficult and happy situations for 5 years of marriage, never once did my daughter expose her husband's ugliness or tell us about her household problems as parents," she continued.

Julie also reminded Alvin who is currently raising children from his marriage to Larissa Chou. In her opinion, trying to destroy Larissa is the same as destroying his own child.

As the child of someone who understands religion, Julie believes that Alvin should not destroy other people's good names as a defense of himself.

"My daughter struggles alone to raise her son and work. Where is your conscience? I believe the child of someone who understands religion should have a better understanding of what to do," she said.

"Destroying other people's names to clear their own and seek justification will not make you look good. May God bless you," she concluded.
