Hemorrhagic Evidence Of Strengthening, Ferry Irawan Becomes A Suspect In The Venna Melinda Domestic Violence Case

JAKARTA - Ferry Irawan has been named a suspect in the case of domestic violence (KDRT) against Venna Melinda. Investigators from the East Java Police Ditreskrimum named Ferry as a suspect today, Thursday, January 12.

"Yesterday we conducted a case title, and FI's brother has been upgraded from witness to suspect," said Head of Public Relations of the East Java Police, Kombes Dirmanto, in Surabaya.

The examination was carried out at a hotel in Kediri on Wednesday, January 11. Six witnesses consist of house holders of hotels, front offices, employees, and hotel CCTV.

The police also confirmed the evidence that Venna Melina had handed over. Among them are bed sheets of towels with blood.

"At the crime scene, several pieces of evidence were also found, including bed sheets of towels with bloodstains, some blood samples have also been taken by investigators," he continued.

Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan are scheduled to undergo further examination at the Ditreskrimum Polda East Java today. Venna Melinda was present accompanied by Hotman Paris as a lawyer while Ferry Irawan has not been seen.

Even so, the Regional Police have not stated whether Ferry Irawan will be immediately detained. As a suspect, Ferry Irawan was charged with Article 44 and 45 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning domestic violence with a penalty of five years in prison.

"Are you detained, we are waiting for the progress," he said again.

In the reporting process, Venna admitted that her head was pressed until her nose was bleeding. Then Venna ran out of the room and met one of the hotel employees.

In the investigation process, Ferry Irawan also confirmed that he had domestic violence against his wife.
